A guy named Energizer told another guy, "If there was a forgive button on reports, I would've forgiven you," when he got slain. Honestly, as a computer science major myself, I think that's an amazing idea. It'd be really easy to code. Just a single "if" statement is needed to be added. It could be a button available when you receive a report response.

It'd also save Mods time by seeing the report is marked "Forgiven" so they don't need to go investigating, which is great when there's lots of people - and reports - on a server.

EDIT: Also, since some people misclick things, if needed there can be another "if" statement adding an "Are you sure? Yes/No" to the button.

If the moderator deems that it is forgiveable (e.g. not intentional), the moderator can ask an admin discretion.
    We don't need this.

This is actually something that would crucially benefit the servers and playerbase but i know 100% i'm in the minority for thinking so but it does make a server much friendlier and enjoyable if people have a chance to forgive a mistake.

It would lighten the work load for moderators on servers with heavy traffic. I know how stressful it can get. I don't understand why you wouldn't want it easier for you and your colleagues. You haven't given a good reason other than "we don't need it." It's not about necessity, it's about practicality and speed (two things a programmer like myself loves).

All of the good reasons have herniated in those threads. Maybe you could take the time and read up since you're studying programming.

Mods, you can go ahead and lock this since its been discussed multiple times and denied multiple times. Its okay.

If you wish to know more why it's been denied so many times, there are many responses in those threads provided by my fellow moderator.

Locked since this has been discussed and denied many times, please use the search bar in the future prior to making a thread.
