Rejected Return the "Forgive" Feature in RDM Manager

The removal of the ability to "Forgive" or "Keep Reports" in the RDM Manager is by far the most STUPID decision I have ever seen. Just...why? Why was this feature removed? Sometimes victims can understand people's situations and give them another chance and spare them from a slay. But no, here it's just you get slayed regardless. The victim should have the final decision if the assailant is slayed or not.

So with a quick bit of brainstorming, I've come up with the following reasons this feature might've been disabled, and a counterclaim to each.

• "It wastes the staff's time, since people file false reports and then forgive them just to joke with people." - This was told to me be a staff member. But first off, it won't stop people from filing false reports. Second, if people are filing false reports, you can just punish them as well. It doesn't take that much time.
• "This is a serious server. If you make a mistake, there's no option for forgiveness." - I can half understand this, but people should be able to be forgiven if they make a GENUINE mistake, not a drunken mistake.
• "If they can't be forgiven, it gives people less incentive to do bad things." - Maybe slightly less? But people will still do it regardless. If they intentionally RDM or stuff like that, I guarantee victims won't forgive anyway.

TL;DR - Please add the option to forgive reports back. There's literally no reason not to have it.

The forgive feature has never been apart of our servers, and it won't be added. This has been addressed in other threads.

Never was their a forgive button so the title is misleading. Plus this would cause a lot of problems if everyone were to forgive like friends forgiving friends for killing each other for fun. -1

 

Sorry but this would just cause more chaos than its worth. "OH I DIDNT MEAN TO CLICK FORGIVE, SLAY HIM NOW (as its been 30 minutes)"
