Rejected Player based betting

Not sure if this has been suggested before but....

I've seen betting on other servers where you can bet on which team will win (inno or T's), but I'm suggesting a type of middle man system that allows players to bet on players fairly.

What I mean by this is that players already make bets on which player they think will win, this is flawed IMO becasue some players won't actually pay out when they lose. The system I'm proposing is a system that takes this concept, and takes money from bets and pools it into a 3rd party so that when players lose the bet they dont have a chance to leave or not pay the winning players out.

the algorithm for payout could go something like (amount in pool / players on winning bet side) = payout per player.

Obviously it would need a little more work than this, but it's entirely just a concept at this point.

 

This has definitely been suggested before. I think it could be cool if done correctly. +1

Can we get an !auction option as well where we list something and have people do a bid war in small amounts back and forth only for another user to massively jack up the price hoping someone autobids to scam them out of their points?
