When you type in the name of the thread and add the description below we could get a side-view like this showing similar topics or discussions. No more complaining about using the search bar. People will realize things have been suggested before, talked about before, bug reports have been filed before etc.
OH MY GOD YES FUCKING PLEASE, I CANT DEAL WITH THE STUPIDITY IN SUGGESTIONS ANYMORE +1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is this really necessary? As for the suggestion, I like it. Is it a plugin that needs to be downloaded? Is it a thing that would be implemented into the website itself?
Is every suggestion that has been suggested 10 times before necessary? These are the real questions we need to be asking.
I like to call it pointing out stupidity so they dont make the same mistake twice.. but each to their own I guess.
When the user is a fairly new user, they might not know to first use the search bar. Calling them out for the "Stupidity" isnt helping anything for anyone.
Aside from the dribble that shouldn't need to be going on This is an amazing suggestion that I hope we can implement. @Chai But I guess to add on... Spoiler http://www.seriousgmod.com/threads/new-members-read-this.31985/ It's already a problem that I know no new members actually read that thread, and furthermore if they actually did there's nothing pointing them to using the search bar when making a suggestion to prevent making copies.
