+1 I don't assume any players are breaking the rules when playing. If the detective is shooting at a player, then I assume that he has evidence that player is a traitor. If it was player vs player it would be assumption because the player shooting could be Innocent, or Traitor. However, detective, you're 100% certain that you have an innocent player-shooting another player. So the other player must be a traitor. It falls under common sense in my opinion. The only other outcome is that the detective is breaking the rules, or the player he is shooting is breaking the rules by doing a traitorous act to cause the player to KOS them. Both of which is outside of the "fourth wall" of the game.
