When was this changed? Why was this changed?

 

Due to a report somewhere that says you can't pick up a detectives dna scanner and assume it's on a t. You must know the source of it.

When it was with the last major rule update.

Why:

The DNA could of been from anyone. Might of been a DNA of a traitor's body.
You just don't know who it's from.

 

It was changed on the 9/24/17 // 24/9/17
I wasn't staff at the time of it being changed but my guess is since it could be DNA from a T Body.

It was changed as part of the extended rules overhaul. The reason behind it was based on the fact that if you don't know where the DNA came from you'd be killing on suspicion because it could have very well been a legitimate kill.

To give a little more info, you can only go off of DNA samples from a dropped DNA scanner that has traitor-equipment-DNA.
