Accepted Unsettled Reports Notification Icon

I've read and experienced several accounts of situations where a person RDMs, is reported, and then leaves before the mod can administer their slay and thus they are banned for RDM and leave. I would like to suggest some sort of icon that shows you if you have pending reports against you so you can check if you are ok to leave the server. Not only will this result in less mods having to handle in-forum ban appeals, but it will create more accountability for those situations where people have reports against them and they leave before a mod can slay them.

 

Just ask the staff member of you're good to leave before you leave.

The most common times players are banned for RDM and leave without knowing it is when they aren't reported at all. What you're suggesting would mean a player would need to be reported for this to happen.

So, before you leave, just ask if you may leave. It's that simple.

 

This already happens; when you are reported you get a loud notification saying "A report has been filed against you".

If you're to ignorant to remember that report then its your own fault if you get banned.

 

What if there's no staff member on the server at the moment? If it's shortstaffed and there's only one mod hopping, it'd be easy to forget that there's still a pending report against you even if you responded. You could just leave before a mod gets to that server and not realize you're going to be banned.

The point is to make the server easier to play on. If there can be an option that results in less people being unnecessarily banned and instead slayed, more people are going to enjoy the server. Less people are going to stop playing in frustration due to a ban. And I will admit to accidentally closing a report and then being reminded about it by a mod later. Does this make me ignorant?

1. You're supposed to ask if it is alraight for you to leave so things like getting unnescessarily banned don't occur.
2. If you accidentally exit out of a report and didn't respond to it you can just type !respond to respond to any report on you, you can also do this whilst you're alive.

If they RDM with no staff, they will be banned for RDM with no staff, because if you responded to the report and there are no mods on, but the report is valid, and you leave, it's not considered RDM and Leave because you did not receive the punishment there, and the report was filed before a mod was on.
