So back in my old TTT Community, we used to have a rather amusing/useful T weapon called the "Masterkey".

It's essentially a door breaching shotgun that when shot into a door, flings it open killing anyone in the door's path. (essentially it converted the door into a prop and just prop killed in it's path.)

It was custom to that server so no link but perhaps it could be re-scripted?

It would be a good way to combat door spammers as a traitor if you used up a harpoon.

This feature is built into TFA weapon base.

Its horrible because it breaks maps that user doors as visual decoration.

Oh and it leaves the prop on the map

Didn't know it was part of the TFA base. Heh.

Though true that it DOES leave the prop on the map, I'm pretty sure we can limit the usage of it to like 2 shots... Or even just a single shot.

Not every map tends to have doors anyways so usage is very situational.

My main concern is the whole thing about it working on any door even if they aren't usable.

Isn't there a something distinguishes between a non-usable door and your standard ones?

    Static/Dynamic doors or something else?

  6. I'm thinking you could go out of some maps where there is a locked door just put as part of scenery or if its part of some secret. (67thway). Maybe make it not work on locked doors?

I'm just going by the TFA version I've used.

DarkRP has this addon all over the place, you can shoot down a door and it turns to a prop. Then after a certain time it goes back to a normal door. As for locked doors just add a statement check, easy.
  9. On a server I co-owned with two other people I played around with the spartan kick addon. The default addon only kicks down unlocked doors that would otherwise be able to be opened by anyone. The problem with this is that some maps don't use an actual door entity. For example, the map Clue has doors that the spartan kick cannot kick down because the entity is the same as doors that are activated by traitor buttons and stuff. I was able to add these to a modified kick, but it meant allowing the kick to break down pretty much anything that was able to be moved. This allows things like traitor rooms and detective rooms to be broken into. I think something like this would be fine as long as it is in the traitor shop. It would help reduce camping in detective rooms if the traitors can break in by buying an item. It could optionally be coded to not drop so it can't possibly be used by innos to break into traitor rooms.

The major downside to this is that large doors can be kicked and turned into props. This was very obnoxious on my server because people would just use it to prop kill people with the big props. Eventually they do go back to their place though.
