I have litterally never heard of this term before, and was wondering what it ment o.o By the line it sounds like a non traitorous act, but on the report from Lars against Toest, I can see that it is a Traitorous act o.o 'So yeah, what does it mean? xD
Silent ID is not a traitorous act in most cases because it doesn't do anything special. When you do it, you see the info in the body like normal but if the body is unidentified it will remain unidentified, making it possible to collect credits off of bodies while being stealthy. The reason why the report was valid is because the victim Silent ID'd an unidentified body and ran away. He didn't get killed for the silent ID (because you can't know if it happened or not) but for passing an unidentified body.
The way you "silently ID" a body is by pressing ALT+E (Or ALT+ whatever your use button is) on a unidentified body
