    Hey Nerds,

So if I wanted to start a thread with specific requirements on how people should post in response to the thread, is this allowed/enforceable?

For example, say I wanted a certain format or requirements, could these be enforced if the thread were to ever get derailed/not following the original stated goal/requirements of posting in the thread?

derailing is always enforced to an extent however theres no obligation for staff to enforce thread rules defined by the OP outside of the normal thread rules

If a thread was created with a specific purpose and goal in mind, which were defined/outlined, would responding to that thread not in the intended way not be considered derailing it?

Edit: I am confusion. Am I unable to respond with follow-up questions if I feel the original question still needs clarifying?

As long as the post mostly pertains to what the OP is talking about, then its not considered Derailing.
