Need some help guys.

I used to be able to run GMOD about 3 days ago. But now I keep getting a weird 2 FPS thing where it's constantly like that. Now when I'm in the menu I'm fine. But when I click join (from the forums) I will lag once I load in.

The lag never stops.

Need some help @Zikeji Dunno if you will know anything about this.

 

I mean, do you have multicore rendering enabled? Like, actually enabled?

 

no, not in my config, nope. In options I do, but that's obsolete. My question is, I used to run it like 3 days ago. What changed?

 

Try enabling multi core rendering and see if that helps.

 

Check your task manager and see if there's something eating up your cpu besides gmod.

 

I tried enabling multi-core rendering using "gmod_mcore_test 1; mat_queue_mode -1; cl_threaded_bone_setup 1" in console. Nothing is eating up my CPU, but with multicore rendering my HL2.exe crashed

I had discord open and Zikeji's STTT record hotkey.. But I closed both, don't know which but it seemed to effect it. If it happens again I'll unlock this thread
