Why you should be unbanned:

So I accidentally pasted a link into chat that lead to a NSFW Google search, however the landing page itself had no explicit content shown and was just google with the search text typed in. The search text itself was not NSFW, only a name. @Redacted banned me for this however I don't believe I should've been banned considering you would have to continue clicking on links to actually get to any explicit material. I messaged him and he claims I "directly, indirectly" linked it, however there is nothing about this in the rules, although I know mods can use discretion when banning under this rule. I do apologize as it was a mistake from being left in my clipboard but you would've had to intentionally continued clicking to get to any actual NSFW content, so I don't believe I should be banned for this.

I would like an Admin or higher to close this out as I've already tried appealing this to @Redacted directly.​

Usually, the person that banned is most of the time the one that will deal with the appeal. If you have an issue with his course of actions, you can always forum report him.

 

I know I could report him, but my appeal to him was informal via messages and wanted to still post my case in being unbanned. I understand he's trying to enforce the rules and I'm not trying to point the finger by reporting him, just asking for a higher authority than him to review my case.

I had talked to @Husky before I enforced the ban. You posted a link that linked a page full of pornographic links. It was no more than an additional click away from someone seeing the content. You and I have already discussed the link privately. Just be careful with what you have in your clipboard.
