The map is Nuclear Power Plant. A detective takes the keycard to the main area and puts it in the reactor control panel so all traitors have to do is push the button killing everyone, is this meta gaming technically? Note: He hasn't pushed the button yet, but put the keycard is the reactor control panel rather than destroying it.
If I recall correctly when we were testing the map, if a non-traitor player attempts to put the keycard, they get zapped by the control panel, killing them instead. So theoretically, there's no scenario wherein non-traitor players can do this.
No I mean like they put the keycard in the control panel so t's don't get killed when they try to get it to the control panel. The detective brings it there and has a t press the button. Is this metagaming or not..?
tfw admins mark Q&A threads as answered when they're not This same question can be asked about: Traitors placing the diamond blocks in the furnace on minecraft_b5 Detectives placing the red keycard on bank And any other map that has a way to help one team or another I believe this could be Indirect Metagaming™, and if done enough times, can fall into the toxic gameplay category
It falls into toxic gameplay before metagaming, but could be seen as both. There's your answer Python.
