Make Garry's Mod flash in the taskbar when a new round starts

I often tab out after I die, look at other shit, then when I tab back in I realize the round had already started and I was killed already, then I tab out again and the cycle repeats

Motegeegee has this, it's pretty neat. When the new round starts, Gmod starts flashing amber in the taskbar.

Also it would help prevent AFKs in the server, as people would know when to come back in

 

+1, it's super useful since there isn't DM and my autism can't keep me tabbed in while I'm dead for more than 2 mins

+1, gives people that reminder that a new round has started in case if they decided to check youtube or something which requires alt tabbing out

 

theres an option for a sound when a new round starts, theres also an option to enable sound while the game is in the background/minimised you do the maths :shrug:

also i dont think its something highwon can even do,that would be a game engine change

press f2 to mute living players, or all players, simple, I can do this all day

and in that case maybe it is possible but whats the point when my solution works perfectly fine

 

just get a 2nd monitor kappa

 

Prior to buying my 2nd monitor, I would simply scroll over my gmod tab and it would show me if a new round has started or not

There is also an option already to play a sound when a new round starts.
