    Ay bois.

So I'm looking for a laptop that has a touchscreen that's good for writing and drawing. I would also like if you were able to play games on it at decent frames.
My budget is up to 1000, but I'd like something under 800 if possible.

    List Of Wanted Thingies:

    Touch Screen
    Under 800 Dollars (If possible)
Able to play games on at decent frames. (If possible)
    Has a pen included
    Good sound system
Has a nice edge to edge screen, nothing sort of bulky looking.

    WOULD APPRECIATE HELP, THANKS, GUYS.

Which games do you want to play?

Mainly GMOD and CSGO tbh, maybe Rust. So, nothing too demanding.

Have you looked at Surface Pros? I know they can play CSGO and Gmod fine, but not sure about Rust- I’d look in to it.

As far as touch screens go, it’s one of the best as far as response and accuracy goes. I took notes for most of my chem classes which involved a lot of drawing.

One thing with touchscreens... if you plan on using it for drawing/handwriting- don’t go blind. Go to a store and try one out. The quality varies so vastly and price isn’t a good determinant on whether it’s good.

    here

How does this look? I just sort of found it and I have always wanted a surface pro if I'm being honest.
    Still looking for suggestions btw.

Look for an 8GB Ram model. You are rather limited with 4GB.

    Fully agree with Lion.

Also- are you in school? I believe Best Buy- or even directly from Microsoft will give you a student discount.

Yes, I am, and I'll probably be going to best buy soon.

I know that 8gb would be much better, but concerning budget. I cannot find many that are 8gb and below 820 or so. Unless it's used, if you could find one that's around 850 and is 8gb would be a lot of help.

Just checked my email. Literally got a $150 coupon from Best Buy this morning. This may help your budget to get the 8GB model. Sign up for student deals before you go- it takes an hour or so to get the coupons.

You should look into what you're going to do with the laptop as well. If you want to play games primarily, you'd be spending significantly more on it than you would be on a pc for the same performance. It might just be cheaper and better to buy a humble laptop and a gaming pc instead.

I have a gaming PC, this laptop is more for writing, in terms of school and hobby.
I also want it for drawing of course.
The problem is that I do want it for gaming, not primarily. But I do want it capable. At least be able to run Gmod, CSGO and/or Rust.
