Answered how to get perma banned by console

Confusion. People have been banned by console for lots of different things. Is it like to keep the staffs identify hidden or something?

 

when someone is banned by "console" it means they got karma banned and then a staff member overwrote the ban with something else (like hacking) but the original banner (in thise case the automated system) is still listed as the banner its kond of a bug i guess

 

Back in the day when a staff member banned an already banned player it did not change the name of the original ban giver. So if someone hacked and was karma banned, when the staff member banned them it wouldn't change CONSOLE to the staff member name. This is also why in some older bans it will say (by Noctorious) in the ban description even though it says console issued the ban.

So it's probably not a bug but a design flaw that was later improved

 

Console can also means that the ban was done either by or through the server; ya kno like karma bans or if highwon were to go through the server and perma ban someone or some shit like that
