Sticky How-To: Be Offended

So, you're somewhere out in the SGM Community and someone says something that offends you.
Well, what are you going to do about it? Are you going to sit there and take it? Do you feel harassed?
Are you going to start a flame war? Are you going to report it to the staff members?
Well, I'm here to tell you how to deal with these types of situations.

SOLVING THE PROBLEM
- Someone or something offends you -
- Collect your anger, your evidence, and your thoughts -
- Address the source; ask the person to stop -
- In the event that it continues, contact the staff -

BEING THE PROBLEM
- Someone asks you to stop doing something because it offends or harasses them -
- Stop doing that thing; especially if it keeps you from breaking community rules -
- Apologize -
- Try to see things from their perspective -
