I don't really use the full shoutbox view, so the refreshing new post widget on there doesn't really do much for me personally.
It would be nice, to have it on the homepage though, which is what I usually have opened to see the shoutbox, alerts and new content (with a refresher running).

And regarding the servers widget, again it would't change much for me if it was on the shoutbox page. You could consider making the server widget on the homepage refresh, but I don't think that would change much either.
What I personally use the Server list for is to see the name list of the connected players, not just the amount of players on each server. So again for me personally it would be of a greater use to have the server list refresh than the widget.

Maybe I'm unique in the way how I use the forums. But at least for me it would improve the usage of the forums. (Mainly in a QOL kinda way)

New version for chrome required a re enable due to changed permissions.

Yeah, for the new posts widget I had to add the permission for seriousgmod.com so it could access it using XHR. Strictly speaking though only Firefox enforced that requirement but I wanted to be compliant on both platforms.

    Heyo, 8BitF0x here.
and this... aged a lot actually.

Microsoft finally gave in and decided to stop making their own engine for their browser Microsoft Edge, but instead they are going to use Chrome's open source project, Chromium. It's the next big thing and it's heading to all Operating Systems. For the second time a Microsoft browser heading to macOS. Since it's using Chromium, it'll accept Chrome Extensions with the flip of a switch.

This is pretty exciting since it opens a bunch more cool things to do in this browser.

This video Microsoft posted on their Windows YouTube channel gives a clear example of the many things coming to Microsoft Edge with Chromium.

In Conclusion, you'll be able to install this extension with Microsoft Edge.

Oh hey, we're back on Firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/seriousgmod-shoutbox-extended/?src=ss :)
    almost a year too late...

In another news, @Zikeji has fixed the issue where Steam badges aren't appearing under users' profile (despite not being informed by anybody from the community)
Also, a small patch to hide `undefined` which is being presented as user's last steam login.

I'll stick around for a bit and let us know if there's anymore issues.
My hope is that some of you guys will still find this extension remain relevant....GIVE ME A LIKE (y) IF YOU ARE STILL USING IT!

I’m apart of the small group that still uses the forums shoutbox on a regular basis. Been using it for a long long time, and I still have the chrome version for if I ever decide to go back to chrome. It’s a great extension, I’m glad you re-added it.
