Could we possibly?

Kind of just popped this idea out of my head:

Could we change the sounds of death in game?

Maybe make a new tab in the pointshop? "Death Sounds"

Not sure if it's possible to implement though...

Edit: Change the Default Death Sound.

Seemed like a good idea when I first read it, then I realized, this could potentially be used to tell who in particular just died.

Alice has an extremely amazing point that could further implement loopholing in a way that I don't wish to see implemented.

could be cool but, I would not spend pointshop money for deathsounds. Would be nice to have new ones though, as the ones we got right now are stale af.

I thought he meant to change the default death sound to something else so the sound is only heard from you, I'd +1 that since I wouldn't mind hearing "my leg!" everytime someone died

But if it's as everyone else said -1

 

I'm neutral leaning to -1 mainly because what Alice pointed out,

However I would easily +1 this idea if it was made random. These death sounds would be random and no one could purchase it + I love "My leg"

IMO If you changed it so that you buy it, but it changes the sound of death for everyone and ONLY YOU can hear the change, then I think it'd be pretty nice.
But if you changed it so that it became the default death sound for everyone without a toggle, then I'd have to disapprove.

 

just change it. i'm tired of hearing "aw, shit" and "aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh" every time someone dies.

Yeah, this would be great if we could have some more sounds cycled in at random. Alice's point about pointshopping them is very good. BUT DEFINITELY DO PUT IN SOME NEW SOUNDS FOR PETE'S SAKE!

In deathrun, when you die, a death sound is randomly chosen from a collection of different sounds.
If we have it on our other server, I'd assume it wouldn't be difficult to implement the same system here.
