I'm running 200+ fps and always have around 60 ping but seem to always have lag that will either rubber band me or send me flying off of high places. I can't be the only one with this issue? It's only recent, so I'm wondering if the servers have been downgraded or something?
I've actually had this happen to me a few times. My ping would be at 50ish but I would be rubberbanding like I was at 200. Nobody else in the server seemed to be experiencing the problem. Probably just a gmod thing with a lot of people on.
Pocket loss isn't a Gmod thing at all and probably isn't on the server side. Sometimes when the server does lag without leading to a crash, which is very occasionally, the entire server will just freeze a bit and everyone will lag. So your individual pocket loss issue is almost guaranteed to not be related to the servers.
