All it can do is cause gossip. Nothing useful for the public to know about who was banned when where and why. Though I liked it to use for my WOS members, I'm living fine w/o the public list.
-1. Causes more harm than good. And as Robo said, gossip. We don't need to have gossip being spreading around the servers about any player that gets banned or even the type of ban, when it was made, which server, etc.
It's not like you're trying to lift a god damn boulder it's a few clicks of a mouse some typing on a keyboard which also requires effort in these replies you're making and it's a done deal. Not rocket science.
From your two threads that you have created today I have come to the conclusion what sort of person you are. The sort that wants staff to do more and be more apparent. You want change and you want it now. I can see the ambition there, but let me tell you something: Bans use to be public, Now their not. I wonder why that is...
If I remember correctly, Highwon disabled this feature because having it accessed by tons of users put a strain on the servers for some technical reason that he'd explain better than I could. There wasn't really any other reason other than that, and it most likely won't make a return as it caused strain on the servers. If you're looking for gossip, your best bet will be the reports and appeals.
