A staff should not be able to take the reigns of a ban when they're compromised emotionally. That's like a judge being a judge in a court case in which the accused victimized the judge; there is not any universes that exist in which the judge will allow the accused to go free, therefore, a third party should take the authority of said case for a pure and unbiased -FAIR- outcome.

it's about fairness, in the end. we can't have staff handling reports on someone when they're offended by the person they're judging.

I mean I was on the server at the time, it was Dani, Tommy and some random pretty much giving their opinions on the topic and they got warned for it

I get where you’re coming from, Hongo, but you gotta realize that in order for the servers to be maintained effectively, having moderators go through a second proxy before punishment isn’t reasonable. Moderators should be able to keep their cool though. The fairness comes in to play in reports. If you feel like you’ve been wronged, or a moderator has been bias, anyone can make a report which you’re doing now.

That being said... that evidence is total shit lul. You’re right. He took right leaning viewpoints in Norma conversation and applied it as harassment just because @Glyph ‘s viewpoints differed from his. That should have never been punished.

I also didn’t realize it was his friend that he called a mongloid. If he didn’t report that for harassment, he should have never punished him for it. That’s just your run of the mill shit talking.

They only need to go through a second party in situations where the staff member in power, is also the victim, and is thus biased to always punish the accused 100% of the time
