Yes I can! Sorry that post is bugged for some reason. Gonna reply in a few comments because of the character limit.
Your cousin is Illenium?? The dude is my favorite artist his music is so inspiring and has quite literally created the foundation for an entire sub-genre of electronic music.
I've tried recreating some of his music just as practice and I just can't get it right. His supersaws are always so powerful, I don't know how he does it.
I use FL Studio 12 mainly because it's super easy to learn and use. It was also the first DAW I was exposed to so I sorta just stuck with it. I've tried Ableton but it has a huge learning curve and really both DAWs (and basically any other DAW), can accomplish the same thing. So whatever DAW you use is totally based on preference or easy of access.
If you're interested in making music and you prefer the way Ableton works, I'd recommend trying Bitwig first. It's free and from what I've heard/read it's very similar to how Ableton works.
Personally I like FL Studio more simply because it's much easier for me to follow what's happening. I've also already bought everything for it so I'm kinda committed haha.
I'll check it out when I get my computer back, and yeah, finally saw him perform live for the first time up at snowglobe this year, he fucking loves it.
