Answered "I bought T but it gave me Detective?!?!?!"

What the title says.
I've heard people say it countless times. I understand why it happens, but is it KOSable?
I know, that seems like a dumb reason, but you could argue that it could fall under common sense and traitor baiting.
All I want is for this to be clarified, thank you.

Why would that fall under common sense?

You can't kill anyone if they say, "I bought T" due to the fact that they can equip and unequip it whenever they want.

Also, if they say "It gave me detective," wouldn't it mean they're a detective and you can't kill them?

 

I'm talking the next round.

 

Whether or not they actually unequip it, it is not traitorous. In fact, I'm not aware of any act that can mark you as KoSable when the round hasn't even started yet.
