Accepted New Detective Item: Running shoes

You are a detective officer so of course you are in good shape and not a chubby traitor, so by equipping running shoes (purchased from the Detective shop for 1 credit) you can unleash your running capabilities and gain a +25% (number is a subject to change) increase to your speed.

Doesn't need a model in my opinion, and as a person with no experience in coding TTT stuff, I think I can safely say that this would be very easy to implement.

As long as this doesn't cause any map related problems like exploiting to certain areas on the map, I can't see a reason why not to add it?

I found the perfect icon for this item. As for unaccessible areas, it could follow the prop surfing rule. I think 10% movement increase is enough compared to your suggested 25%.

I'm gonna have to +1 this idea! A server I used to Administrate on had sprinting (with a cooldown of course) and it was really fun.

 

+1. Especially helps with dealing with trolly innos who love to follow the det around to make us paranoid to keep us from doing our jobs. They'll never catch me now!

 

Maybe make the base increase 10%, but with the NEW POINTSHOP UPGRADE for the running shoes, you may increase your speed by +2% (capping at 20% when 5/5 upgraded)

I would consider detectives to be a man of the chubby figure. Clearly they are unfit man who stand in a corner with their Jackhammer and HP station, combined with Hex shield for extra protection.

would it drop when the detective is killed (like a jackhammer), or will it dissapear (like the radar)?

 

Part of the TTT lore is that Detectives are not fat while Traitors are, so innos/traitors would not find much use in these sneakers. So they would disappear
