So i'm Suggesting Something similar to the battle pass, where players can overtime play and earn limited time skins, for weapons and crowbars, detective and traitor items, with tiers all they have to do is keep playing and do challenges like as a t kill x amount in 1 round, or take no damage on a t round while getting kills this would give people a lot of incentive to keep playing to earn weapon skins or even points! everything earned can be cosmetic etc but It's just a idea i'm open to suggestions.

no its just a cheap way to incentivize people into playing the game in other games as well

 

It's more cheap when it gives out stupid crap that makes them dumb like emotes, weapons etc I don't think earning weapon skins that bad cause it's cosmetic and not idiotic (Cough Fucking Fortnite Emotes Etc)

Would you mind rewriting what you exactly want implemented, what I can gather so far is that you want a challenge system that rewards you with cosmetics?

 

Holy shit, almost like some sort of advanced inventory system with perks and maybe even have little white floating cubes that randomly spawn throughout the map that players can race to and maybe it can give you points and stuff oh and how about giving guns different tiers like maybe some that have a chance to do burn damage or poison damage but wait there's more we can also have a trading program and some ways to gamble our points (a few minigames) better yet have boss rounds which can activate for the whole server when a player uses their "boss round credit" that'd be cool

 

Our Christmast event in 2017 had something similar to this. You would gain event points while you played that boring ass sgm on ice game (which happened once a map iirc and was made better by the snowballs killing you in future patches) and after awhile you would unlock certain upgrades that were purely cosmetic. I can see doing this for special events, but not as a stand alone thing. It sort of strains the term limited to say that you can grind forever to purchase specific items. Also, a tier system? lol now you are starting to remind me of...

Havent played there for a long time idk whats going on over there tbh but ye for events i just thought of à way to earn stuff i only got the odea tho because i like grinding to earn things.

 

Back in my day we suggested Achievements (rip) :'(

 

The Christmast event Pacifist mentioned was pretty simple in a way and added something interesting compared to the other events. But what Nagisa is suggesting is the one thing I am trying to get away from. Keep the game simple and fun please.
