I have those and I personally don't like them because the wires get tangled up too easily. Also the software for it is weird for my pc. Only reason I'm still using them is because I don't want spend money on another set when my headphones still work.
Currently using the wireless variant; would super highly recommend them, they're probably one of the best wireless headsets on the market for the cost, their range is a bit on the low side but they work for like 14+ hours of consecutive use and are easy to charge overnight. I almost never have to use them plugged in.
What's a "gaming" headset? Is this a buzzword people just add to their product description? Do you just mean a headset with good audio quality?
Lol i use the wired variant and its still really good. I have an entire setup with corsair and I love it all. ^-^
Remember, you're playing gmod. The mic quality isn't important, it all sounds the same! Prioritize sound quality instead imo
Well I don't just play garry's mod I play a variety of games but yes I understand this but It would help me talk to the community
logitech g533 been using it forever, good quality and wireless, charges up to 100% in like an half hour or smthing
In 3 months you still havent decided, even with all these recommendations? Yeesh Logitech is great Corsair is great Sanhaiser is great but doesnt have a mic. You can buy a clip on mic thats amazing for 20 extra dollars Razor is great Theres alot out there and if youre not on a budget then pick up the sanhaisers. You cant compare them to any “gaming” labeled headset bc their audio quality is on a whole other level, and like i said 20 bucks for a great clip on mic
Been using Corsair Void Pro Wireless. They are the most comfortable and best headphones i have ever used. having wireless headphones is the nicest thing you could possibly do for yourself. not having to take your headphones off in a discord call with friends when you want to grab a drink or something is amazing. i personally have never used the mic or lights on them. When i first got them i was easily able to squeese 14 hours battery out, after every day use for 2 years its more like 8 hours now. annoying downside though. they have 2 modes to tell you what is happening with you headphones (i.e. mic off/on power on/off) the modes are some woman talking or unintelligible bleeps and boops and these sounds arent played locally inside your headphones but rather come from your pc sound and then to you. which can be really annoying if recording or streaming. Edit: I noticed you wanted a mic on them. a desktop mic i find is always the best option, but the headphones have an okay mic from some quick testing.
If you want something reliable get something like the Corsair Void. orr if you want budget get something like these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072MLVW9T/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Cheap and flashy but oof they sound good and feel nice (in my opinion)
Everyone gives me shit but I have Astro's A50's and they are the best headset by far I've ever had. They're wireless until you charge them and they're like $300 and It's very worth the price.
