To my knowledge these rules have not been decided but I would think if you see two people doing a credit exchange it would be kosable @Highwon @Darktooth @Disruptionz

From my experience playing the map the credit transfer is only for traitors. Unless I am wrong and detectives have access to this as well. I kept getting killed for standing next to it while it did the credit transfer and I saw no reason to report them. If it were a traitor only thing then it would seem logical for you to be able to kill someone who is transferring credits. That's just my thought and you'll have to wait till the staff figure that out.

    How to use credit transfer:
    -Be a traitor or detective
    -Unlock vault
    -Stand by credit terminal
-Press keyboard, as detective; press traitor button, as traitor.
    -Wait 45 seconds without moving.
    -Recieve credits!

As Harry Potter said, there hasn't been an official ruling created for this yet.

I'll speak with Highwon and the leads later today and we'll have something posted in this thread when they come to a verdict.

Does the machine light up or give any indirection it is being 'used?'

If it doesn't, and it just stays the same, we can't say its a T act for standing next to a "T" place, much like standing next to a T Trap.

While I'm not sure that the machine can be said to have much in the line of showing it is being used, when the box is opened, a red light will shine on the radio. Aside from that, I am not aware of any other ways to tell if it is kosable.

@Carned I have done a few test runs with the sniper radio and have found that once the door is opened, the snipers attack on their own. The only assistance aside from that is the traitors may call the snipers to different locations. As for the credit machine, on the display screen, it will show when it is in use, and when a credit is dispensed, a green light will turn red. While they are standing there, they have to remain there, standing, and not move. They can look about and shoot, but they have to remain in front of the machine, therefore, anyone who is standing in front of it, can be held accountable as a T if the screen is stating that they should wait until it dispenses. As for the radio, while anyone can open it, anyone who does will activate the snipers. I hope this answers your questions.

I wonder if the map creator(s) had any thought to that. I never knew that that radio and power box thing was for. I always kept turning it on and off when I played on bank.

When the credit transfer is being used the screen changes and computer sounds can be heard. If the transfer is cancelled or completed another sound effect can be heard and the screen will change briefly. So if a tratiors sees someone coming and walks away you can hear the machine cancel.

When I was first making the traitor objective I wanted a neutral objective that could be enabled and disabled fairly easily by either side. The idea was that traitors could flip on the switch for some extra assistance and innocents could turn it off easily if they saw it on.

In the new version this is totally scrapped and replaced with a proper traitor objective. That is explained well.

I would argue then without a doubt then using the Machine should be considered a Traitorous Act.

No Inno's can walk up to it, press the button, and make it work? Just for clarification. Like some traps, Inno's can press the button and activate it, however most of these buttons are in T rooms.

    I would theorize that

    1. Using the credit transfer machine is a Traitorous act.
    2. Traitors must warn for activating the sniper trap.

Was there any other specific things to discuss? Carned mentioned opening the security panel. Can only T's do this, do they have to do it from afar, be up next to it, or can anyone open it.

Anyone can do it, but you have to stand next to it when you do it. This can cause problems if multiple people are standing next to it, but it does activate the snipers, which do not target only innos, they target everyone.

Innocents can try and use the credit transfer but it will do nothing. Likewise if someone was to try and force Traitors to use the machine as a form of traitor tester it will have no effect, they need to activate the traitor trap not the keyboard. Detectives activate the credit transfer by using the keyboard.

In TTT_Bank_b5 the traitor objective can be opened by anyone. However the traitor objective has been changed in TTT_Bank_b13 and it is pretty obvious that it is a traitorous act. In the newest version the Traitor objective requires "Traitor Brand Batteries" which are red props that have a red trail.

    *cough*

Until we finally get the proper version of this map on our servers, we will rule being near this device a traitorous act. This obviously does not apply to Detectives.

Alright, we added the proper version of this map on all servers.

Now, carrying the "Traitor Brand Batteries" is a traitorous act, made obvious by the red trail that follows the module.
