  1. Umm, for the keyboard, if you want something great but not flashy try the razer black widow stealth compact. It costs 59-75$.
Pretty sure it's cherry mx blue for the macros.

Just letting you know now I love logitech soooooo

For a keyboard thats great but not flashy try the Logitech G213. http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/g213-rgb-gaming-keyboard This keyboard is great AF and you can make the RGB lights anything you want so if you want rainbow one day and white the next you can. You can probably find some pretty decent deals on amazon.

For a simple yet useful mouse, I would go with the Logitech G402. Very simple design, great response time for fast paced games, and an overall comfy feel when gaming for long hours. This mouse is also great for any hand postition, whether you use the Claw, Palm, or Fingertip grip style. http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/g402-hyperion-fury-fps-gaming-mouse You can get it 20 bucks off on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Hyp...s&ie=UTF8&qid=1478543544&sr=1-1&keywords=g402

For a mouse pad, I dont know if you are wanting a large mousepad, that extends throughout your desk, or one that will be just for your mouse, so I will include one or more of both.

For the extended, I would go with the Glorious extended mouse pad. https://www.amazon.com/Glorious-Extended-Gaming-Mouse-Mat/dp/B00J2EF4K6 This mouse pad is large enough to cover most desks, and is EXTREMELY comfy. The fabric offers fast movements and has antifray stitching.

For the mouse-only pads, I would go with the Logitech G640 Large cloth mousepad. http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/g640-cloth-gaming-mouse-pad This mousepad, is great. 98% all around great. I say 98%, well bc this is a big ass mouse pad. This is a review on the pad, and you can truly see just how big it is, for being a mouse-only mouse pad. However, it works amazing at tracking at low and high DPI gaming, and it is a stable tracking at quick movements.

If you are not wanting something as big as that one, then i would go with the Logitech g240 Cloth mousepad. http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/g240-cloth-gaming-mouse-pad Its the same design and comfy-ness as you would find in the G640, but just a shit ton smaller.

If you are more into the Hard-surfaced mousepads, the Logitech G440 is perfect for you. http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/g440-hard-gaming-mouse-pad The same size and shape as the G240, except well, hard. I personally dont like this style of pad, as the tracking has been known to be excessively low during quick movement/paced games.

Like i said, logitech fan for life.

Edit: I dont know much about monitor shit so im gonna leave that one up to YT for ya.

    Before you trigger me,

Its called the Blackwidow Stealth Tournament edition.

Razer never uses Cherry MX. They use their own version of the MX blues and MX Browns.

Blackwidow Stealth = Razer Orange switches = Cherry MX brown
Blackwidow Ultimate/Standard = Razer Green Switches = Cherry MX blue

A personal choice: Go for the Corsair K65/K70/K95. Cherry MX switches with RGB lighting. Much easier to clean and cheaper than Razer's overpriced and lower quality products.

Im aiming for the build you put in this link: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/Dw6JwV

Elvis suggested cooler master towers, but I have no idea which tower would work with the motherboard or whatever he said so

ayuda im like 90% there to having a full set-up

Which mousepad is less intruding based on space take-up? Like, given a desk of unknown size but one that can handle a PC set-up which one would be more flexible to work with the space it takes up because that's literally my situation.

Also how would a keyboard being placed on a mousepad work like seen in the two examples? Would it slide or ruin the mouse pad if placed on the extended mouse pad that's really long or would it be slanted a bit like seen in the video or would it not be noticeable at all

that is, if you need to work around the mouse pad's size?

or am i overthinking this stuff

NGL here, the first part you need to dumb down cause im tired and i aint got time to think.

Second part, you dont even notice the keyboard it on the mousepad. If you use the pad just right, the pad almost acts like a wrist "comforter" (I didnt say wrist rest bc it isnt as elevated as a rest would be) and can be a bit more comfortable to use rather than having your wrist on the bare desk itself. It doesnt mess up the pad, nor does it slip all that much, as most keyboard have non-slip pads on the bottom of them. If yours doesnt come with any, you can easily buy them no more than 3-4 bucks.

The headset I am currently using is the Logitech G430 http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/g430-7-1-surround-sound-gaming-headset. This headset is great. Combined with the Gaming Software that you can download, the G430 is extremely useful. The base and treble and be altered, and it has two amazing different surround sound settings that work extremely well while both gaming or watching a movie. The ear pieces go over the ear and sit comfortably, and work well for long hour gaming sessions or long movies. The mic is extremely clear while talking, and it doesnt give alot of background noise. The mic is fairly flexible to fix your desired needs, and the mic folds upwards to be out of your way while not in use. However, as long as you dont plan on screaming a whole bunch, then you should be fine, as ive maxed out my mic a lot by screaming. The cord is about 6 feet long, but it comes with a Velcro strap that allows you to wrap up the cord and make it as tight as you want it to be. The cables split off into an audio/microphone 3.5 jacks, but it comes with a USB port that uses 2.0 i believe (dont quote me on that). This headset currently goes for 80 on the logitech website, however i was able to get a wicked good deal from bestbuy. I was able to get them for 40, however they have a different sale, which still saves you 20 bucks. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/logitech-g430-over-the-ear-gaming-headset-black/8785729.p?skuId=8785729

Logitech also offers the Logitech G230 http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/g230-stereo-gaming-headset. This headset it pretty much the exact same thing as the G430, except it doesnt have the 7.1 surround sound and it doesnt have as good of quality sound in general. The G230 is also only 40 bucks on Amazon http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/g230-stereo-gaming-headset , however if you are wanting quality i would go with the G430.

Both of those are wired headsets, and i heard you say you dislike cords a whole bunch, so here is what Logitech offers from their Wireless section.

The logitech G930 is an incredible wireless headset for only 160 bucks. Now, that does seem like alot, but you are getting what you paid for. It is an incredible mic, and if i had the money to waste on a headset, I would personally be using these instead of the G430.

ATX motherboards fit in ATX cases. Micro ATX motherboards fit in micro atx cases.

yours is ATX and is this size.
so you need an atx case.

you could get a micro atx motherboard, and have a much smaller board. There would be no drop in performance. You would just have less PCI-E plugs, which would only matter if you ever planned on SLI'ing two GPUs. You prob wont ever need to do that.

so basically if you get a micro atx you can get cases like this
    [IMG]
    instead of that
    [IMG]

I actually have a micro ATX motherboard inside of an ATX case, because the smaller case wasn't wide enough to fit my 1070

    I see I see thanks

I think all I lack now are the dual monitors

and speakers if Im ever gonna need them which I doubt it.

This is what I was talking about when I said "it has to fit". I know the ATX cases will fit an ATX motherboard, but with all the additional stuff, (I.e the power supply, RAM sticks, GPU, ETC.) I was thinking that he might have to go with a regular sized case to fit them. Since you had to get a Micro ATX to fit in an ATX case, wouldnt it be wise to just go with a regular sized case so that if it doesnt fit he doesnt have to spend extra on a Micro ATX?

    @PanzerShrimp

So I've been going over the list you've compiled with my father (who is an electrical engineer, can put together computers, but hasn't used state-of-the-art in years)

and he was a bit taken away by the 1.5k, he's going to various sites for similar pieces to reduce the price if possible.

Aside from that, he doesnt understand why you have listed a Solid state hard drive along with a regular 2 TB harddrive.

As for the memory cards, Mobo (whatever that is) supports 4 cards w/ a total of 64 GB, while the 2 listed right now in your list aren't supported by Mobo.

He says yours would work, but maybe at a reduced performance.

So Im just here relying information at this point.

  19. Elvis

    Elvis TheRockStars VIP Silver

The SSD would of course have the boot on it to make the boot like 8 seconds. He included a 2 TB harddrive bc you dont want to flood your SSD with downloads and shit. Of course, you can get a 1TB harddrive, but i personally wouldnt go any lower than that if you are looking into playing a bunch of games.

My father suggests, to save 180 dollars AKA not buy the SSD, to just use sleep mode.

Pretty convincing argument unless the SSD is absolutely crucial besides an 8 second boot.
