meh, Grew up watching a lot of older cartoons with anthropomorphic animals, kinda never grew out of it. It molded how my preferences are into games and other media I consume, (I.e. I'm more likely to play the "furry" race in games rather than the more human like ones) And I mean, I really don't give a shit about people who want to ostracize me for it, why am I gonna let someone who I'll never meet be negative to me and actually affect me IRL?
I think it just stems from liking animals and nature, like Espurr said. From what i can tell, A lot of furries want to actually be the animals or characters they dress as.
