Im trying to think of ways to get the community away from the "Ew deathrun" mindset. Seeing as most of you have that mindset, im coming to you guys directly. Why do you dislike deathrun? What about it draws you away? Is there anything in particular that could be changed to make it more popular within the community? I am hoping this can stay as a serious topic, so please keep it that way. Thanks!
1. My favorite knife skin added to the pointshop (Falchion Knife - Doppler (Phase 4)) 2. Maybe a "Learn to B-hop" workshop where newbies can learn to b-hop like the veterans. 3. A list of the relative difficulties for each map.
I would play but it is so rarely popped, other than that I have played like 4 total times and played the same 5 maps the entire time
if you could, you should try some form of randomizer for traps to keep the game interesting. Or just rotate maps seasonally.
Death run is fucking lit dude. It's underrated fun to have autohop while flipping a butterfly knife Not helpful at all but y'know. I do miss my blue rank trail..
Deathrun is a good time if you can just get some people to play lol. I had a lot of fun a while back when we had a group of us playing regularly (freddy, elvis, etc). And bhopping really isn't that hard, especially with auto bhop (*cough* @j3kawesome ). It just takes a little getting used to.
It's pretty much just a population issue for the most-part, a lot harder to gain population in general as opposed to TTT (A lot more newbies are looking for TTT, not DR)
I’m seeing some good opinions. Some state that it gets boring quickly, don’t worry I have plans in place to change that. The biggest hurdle would be getting the changes implemented to the server. Some are saying that it’s about population, and I 100% understand that. A big thing that could help out with that is hopping on when you see repop attempts being done. We need the help of the community to get deathrun started back up again. I’m looking for more inputs on this thread, so post your opinion please.
More incentives ( the only idea i could come up with is a reward you can use in TTT , but can only get it through Deathrun )
