View Steam profile from scoreboard

I looked around and I could not see it suggested, it would help with possibly determining if people are ghosting or not, and viewing their steam profile could help with finding out if they are. (?)

 

staff are already able to see who is friends with who on the server

 

I think if a feature like this to be implemented, the creators of TTT might have to be the ones to code it.

 

No, it can be very easily done. And TTT is open source anyway.

 

It could help non-staff members be more sure about possible ghosters. A key reason why some staff look into people ghosting is if they're steam friends or not and to have quick access to that would make the regular player who will report people be more sure of themselves and not waste time on a shit show recording. Definitely useful if staff aren't on the server.

Edit: And mango makes a fair stab at the idea too.

 

Maybe could enable ghosting between trolls that do not yet know each other.

 

Buuuuut thats so much effort.

 

Damn first world problems.

Honestly, with ghosting you're either going to know right off and be able to start recording or you're going to have to put in some effort or you'll never even know.

It's not hard to get that kind of evidence.
