    Purpose
The purpose of making this thread is to give a platform where users can get examples and hopefully a better understanding of rules and how they would apply in action. This is to keep the Q&A section of our forum from asking the similar questions again and again, but also to help all players understand why and how they are expected to follow the rules and protocol. This thread is supposed to be similar to an outdated one created by Sinz and other attempts at this in the past. Since this is a collections thread, it will naturally have some delay from the rest of the rules, so always refer to the Extended Rules in case of conflict.
    Format
This thread will be formatted to include the rules, green positive examples, orange negative examples, yellow neutral examples, and white links to threads other materials that the summary derived from.
    Future
I will try my best maintain this thread with all the examples I believe are significant and update the thread to match any rule changes. I invite any staff members and any players to contribute to this thread by either editing wording to be clearer, or adding more examples and rules that need to be addressed. If you are a staff member, feel free to edit the thread while maintain the format outlined above. If you are anyone else, please PM me about any changes with the subject line "TTT Faq". My first goal with this thread is to maintain it, and that will take a lot of effort and activity so I'd really appreciate any help with this. I'll continue to update it with more situations and examples as deemed necessary, and let everyone know should this thread become deprecated.

Admin Discretion: This thread isn't meant to substitute the judgement of an admin+ on situations. The examples included in this thread under Toxic Gameplay, Loopholing, Metagaming, Self-defense, and even Unidentified bodies require a staff member's discretion about a player's intention and the situation. Many factors are taken into account for this specific evaluation, including time, player's history, warnings, and details about the situation itself. This thread is just meant to give everyone a better understanding on the guidelines used for this evaluation. Please read the linked thread for a clearer explanation on a situation. Even if a situation is similar to the one you are involved in at the surface level, always refer to the admin's assessment on the situation should examples in this thread and the admin's judgement contradict. Admins generally have a deeper understanding of rules than other players and may assess it differently than what was previously done based on slight changes and the players or motives involved.
    Special thanks to: @Yuuki ,@Graze , @Opalium , and @HelixSpiral for help

    FAQ
    Gameplay
T-Baiting and KOSes: These are traitorous acts as defined by our rules because of obvious reasons.
    • Shooting is NOT t-baiting if you cannot 100% confirm that the person who shot was shooting at other players. Even a couple of seconds can allow players to move and change whether the player was T-baiting for not. You must witness that the player who shot was shooting at other players for this act to be traitorous.
    • It IS a KOS on everyone alive if a Traitor tells you that you are the last innocent (can be RDM on the traitor's part if the traitor who said it did not ask other traitors for their permission to do so).
    • It IS traitorous to KOS a dead innocent as many players may not see that the innocent is dead right away and they are not required to keep track of the scoreboard. [NOTE: Repeatedly kosing a dead innocent to lower someone's karma may be toxic.]
    • You are responsible for your KOS and held accountable any RDM caused by your KOS even if you call it off because the players aren't required to keep track of every KOS that was called.
      • However, in the event that you DO call it off and the person who followed it regardless acknowledges that it was called off, the person who followed the called off KOS is responsible for the kill—not you.
Common Sense: This a rule that allows players to kill another player for reasons that prove that they are 100% a Traitor. This is also pretty extensively covered in the Extended Rules
    • As a detective, it is NOT common sense to kill the player who ID'd an AFK traitor when you don't get any credits off the body yourself since you cannot say with 100% certainty that they were always AFK. (It'd be RDM to do so) [Unless in certain circumstances that you can.]
    • It is NOT common sense to kill a player that is behind you or not in your line of sight if you get shot from that direction and there are multiple exits/enough time for one to leave.
    • It is NOT common sense to kill someone for picking up Sniper or SMG ammo while having a primary weapon of a different bullet type because the player can possibly have detective versions of the guns that take the ammo. (Even if the round has just began, you may NOT kill for this because Highwon may change ammo type at any point.)
    • It is NOT common sense to kill someone based on how much damage they take. (Although body armor decreases damage by a flat amount, there are many other many variables in how much damage something does. You may NOT kill someone for how much damage they take in any situation.)
Metagaming: This rule is very discretionary and it is therefore left up to an admin+ to decide if someone is metagaming or not. This is extremely situational and its basis is outlined in the Extended Rules.
    • It is NOT Metagaming to simply not react to a Traitorous act. TTT is a mind game about whether to kill someone for a traitorous act or not. If we make everyone kill for every little thing, it would be pointless. [NOTE: It CAN be Metagaming to ignore it blatantly with the intention to help the other team—again, please contact an admin here.]
Self defense: This rule allows players, regardless of role, to kill another player that puts their life in imminent danger. This allows players to kill others innocents for putting their lives in danger at any point in the round because doing so is also a traitorous act. However, this isn't the case with players with special roles proven to be part of your team (ie. Detectives for innocents, and Traitor buddies for Traitors).
    • As an innocent, it is NOT self defense to kill a Detective for KOSing you.
      • They must also then shoot at you after calling the kos (or convey the intent to kill you in any other way, such as making a sound of an empty clip while aiming at you). [Note: A detective t-baiting you without calling a KOS, or calling a KOS without showing intent to kill you CANNOT be killed.]
    • The act of being put into danger by these special role players expires, and you may NOT kill them if your life is no longer in immediate danger. [This immediate danger evaluation is at the discretion of a staff member; read this thread for better examples and thorough explanation.]
      • If your T-buddy shot you, but then stopped putting your life in danger, you may NOT mark them "kill" and avenge yourself later on.
    • It is NOT self defense to kill your Traitor buddy (or a Detective for innocents) for jihading next to you without warning as they may drop it.

    Gameplay(cont.)
Unidentified bodies: This is one of the traitorous acts defined in the Extended rules. Ignoring an unidentified body is a traitorous act because generally, people who ignore unided bodies are the ones who killed it, and it benefits the Traitors greatly to not not identify bodies as it makes innocents see that there are more players are alive than there actually are.
    • You may NOT kill someone for not identifying a body that puts their life in danger or is physically inaccessible (A plank too narrow for 2 players in this case)
Guilty by Association: This rule allows players to kill other players that associate themselves to traitors by failing to act adequately to someone performing a traitorous act. This is qualified as a traitorous act because traitors have no motive to harm one another.
    • It is NOT GBA to not act on a player that's guilty due to association (One can only be GBA from the original traitorous act)
Loopholing: This is a broad category that includes abuse of rules and use of technicalities that mitigate the purpose of the rules. If this thread and the Extended Rules are fulfilling their purpose, you should have a general idea about the purpose of rules and their enforcement, so tricking around them would be loopholing. Punishment for this is at the discretion of an admin.
    • It IS loopholing to lie in your reports and provide false reasons for killing someone with the intention of doing so. [Note: It is NOT loopholing to accidentally give false reasons in your report; that is RDM. Staff members have up to 20 seconds of gameplay prior to a person's death in a Death Scene and can check your story in most cases.]
    • It is NOT loopholing to camp or plant unided bodies as an innocent as long as they are visible to players and the players have an adequate chance to id them, as you can be killed for them too.
    • It IS loopholing to walk into the line of fire of another player shooting at a wall for the sole purpose of killing them.
Toxic Gameplay: This part of the rules is somewhat ambiguous and it is therefore left up to an admin+ to determine whether something is toxic or not. Generally, acts that clearly use the rules to ruin the gameplay they were solely made to protect are considered toxic. Your goal is to use the rules and logic to help win the round for your team—not kill as many players as you can. Punishment for this is at the discretion of an admin
    • It IS toxic gameplay to bring unided bodies near AFKs to kill them for it.
    • It IS toxic gameplay to camp or plant unided bodies as a detective since you cannot be killed for them yourself.
    • It is RDM to intentionally kill your Traitor buddy and claim "crossfire" for another player around your T buddy (It IS toxic gameplay [or loopholing] if done excessive or caught with the intention of getting away from deserved punishment with this).
    • As an innocent, it IS toxic gameplay to intentionally activate a Traitor trap with the intention of killing other innocent players with it.
    • It IS toxic gameplay to kill players for not identifying bodies that are hidden away or in a spot that cannot be readily accessed in the time given.

    Misc.
These acts do not necessarily fit in any of the major categories or do not make enough substance to make their own categories currently.
    • You may NOT kill a proven innocent for picking up a Traitor weapon that you obviously know the source of. (i.e if Bob kills a Traitor and picks up his Flare gun in front of you in clear vision) [It may be considered toxic to do so as it actively diminishes the purpose of the rule and ruins gameplay.]
    • You MAY kill someone for possessing any Traitor weapons (including the teleporter) that you do not know the source of.
    • Traitorous acts do not expire.
      • If you witness a player doing a traitorous act, but fail to kill them and remember the act and the player or mark them as "kill", you MAY kill them later even if the they stop committing it. (An unided body that has since been identified in this case)
