I've had this idea for a video game. Nothing feasible. Just a concept. A 2D sidescroller competitive platformer game in the vein of "Duck Game", "Stick Fight: The Game", or even "Smash Bros." I think "Trouble in Terrorist Town" would be a really interesting/fun Game mode The only problem is thinking of a way of to translate this FPS game mode to a sidescroller-type game In "TTT" you see what your own status is (detective, innocent, or traitor) in your own first person perspective. In a 4 player competitive platformer game, you have the spatial awareness of all players on the screen. I wondered this for a while. How can you translate a game mode like TTT to a sidescroller? Perhaps a way to translate it to a local couch multiplayer? Any ideas?
You'd think that the people who complain that the game is dead would just all get together and play the game.
I had an idea for a "2.5D" map. The map is 3D itself but every player is forced into a 2D view, and therefore they play in third person. For example like in Spelunky, except with 3D levels Problem is that controls will not work or will be hard to revert automatically after playing, but it certainly is possible Anyway this 2D idea is also good, would feel fresh to play
