Kinda shitty/hypocritical how you guys repress all the pedo memes but then let this SVU meme slide, though. I think it's funny either way, but at least pick a side and stick with it. I get that this one is "more subtle" but we all know so what's the difference. Correct me if im wrong and we are allowed to make memes about that topic because I have wanted to post a few, but have refrained due to the stance some staff have taken.

I had a few prototype ideas but later dialed them back since I didn't want to be too edgy for this. I also checked with a lead before posting just to make sure I didn't go to far with any of the jokes. I think the difference is I'm not posting stuff with someone's name on it - it's more of a general thing - and also the fact that it's a written "article" vs some gif that just looks crude. While both deal with similar topics, especially with recent events in everyone's mind, it may just be the format that makes the difference.

If someone looked at this a year from now, they may be able to summarize the basics of what happened. But that's it, no specifics like names. Alternatively, if someone looks at one of those gifs a year from now, they'll quickly have an clear idea on their mind on not just what happened, but who was involved, etc.

 

I've been waiting for a long time to get the newsletter. Delivers as always.

 

I understand, and have no problem with what you posted. I think it is hilarious. It just seems hypocritcal that @Python~ 's memes were deleted when he also didnt mention any names or specifics and it was just as vague. His might even be MORE vague, since yours implies sexual relations. Both mention the staff team. Won't post it here but the staff know what I'm talking about. Seems hypocritcal when the staff delete one but not the other when they both meet the standard of appropiateness. It's a slippery slope to allow one and not the other based on arbitrary and subjective terms such as "vagueness, edginess, or subtlety" I can easily argue that yours is more edgey and his is more vague since yours mentions sex . Once again, not a problem with what you posted just a problem with how the staff deal with it. I think all of it should be allowed as long as it's not open harassment.
