So, starting a very small suggestion: ability to change the text color you see in the shoutbox while typing. Currently, we have the ability to change color of the text we see and what others see after being sent (not each individually) A little option to change what color you see could be very helpful. This is what it would look like: Spoiler: current As you may see, the text appear extremely hard to read. However, after the implementation, it would look like this: Spoiler: future As soon as the message is sent, it turn the color selected and it appears the color you selected. At this very moment, the only way to do this is to change it locally: Spoiler: element color There you can change it to what you may like. Example, black is (0,0,0) Spoiler: black That was the way I had gotten the text to appear black on my screen but still appear the color I selected after being sent: Spoiler: after edit The only problem with this is that as soon as the webpage reloads, the edit is gone as the edit was made locally. With a little option to change the color of the text on the panel, every color would become easy to read while typing and even after being sent. This is very easy to implement and would not interfere anything.
I always wondered why it was yellow to begin with. I think that if the chat bar was just the color of the background, it would solve this issue.
PLease please, what Mango said....or even just keeping it the lighter grey color it is before you type.
+1 It would easier to see what I'm typing to make sure I don't make any typos and be tormented for it <3 Spoiler: The shit I gotta go through
A workaround would be to use Zikeji's shoutbox "chat enhancement" code he made before the shoutbox color palette was available to anyone but admins (good times). http://www.seriousttt.com/threads/extension-seriousttt-chat-enhancement-v1-26-21.8972/ Spoiler: Users who use white text IMO: +1.
It's only black but that's all I wanted. But Woo I helped a suggestion come to life! Edit: Guess it was a glich because now its all colors
I used my extension even as an admin because of this issue haha. When I change colors it resets to the color I changed it to, but when I refresh the page it's black. So it appears to be "fixed" but in an odd way.
