Hey there SGM, as the year is coming to a close we'd like to hear some questions from you as we look ahead to the new year!

Just throw in some questions and @Lordy Claus and I will make a compilation of the questions along with our answers at a later time. Please keep it civil! We will ignore trolling or other toxicity. We want to answer all the questions we can!

My very first day as Lead Admin. I still think Muffinman got a raw deal here. Nine slays, a Mass RDM ban, and a demotion. Fun fact behind the scenes, Pacifist and I were actually arguing in DMs whether or not we should give in to the bloodthirsty mob and demote Muffinman. While I was in favor of keeping Muffin, his admin made the decision to put him down before we came to an agreement, which I would not overrule.

The beginning of the Porn Month(s). There was just one drama after the other when I first got Lead Admin. It wasn't mentioned in the report, but the reason I banned wink initially was simply because I asked Pacifist what the punishment for posting porn on the forums was, and was told it should match in-game. Some dominoes were certainly tipped that day.

This one sticks out to me, because it is what I believe to be the only time I've overruled one of my admins on a report. Not pleasant for anyone involved.

Sure, we can just demote them all. Seriously though, I'll see about sorting them out.

I have plenty of ideas for some Mini Events between now and the Anniversary Event. Work is currently being done on a Valentine's Day / Chinese New Year Event.

I haven't hosted in awhile just because I've been doing other stuff. You can't ping the Game Night role because it got spammy when we did let the Helpers have that ability.

You'd have to be more specific, though I suggest you take any suggestions to the suggestions forum.

There are plans for a SGM Minecraft server.

We had one planned for December, but it fell through due to scheduling complications. So we're merging the two cross-community into a three-way event. There will be an announcement for it very soon.

The Lead Admins are the members of the Leadership, which together with the Owner, are responsible for the management of the community and its services.
The main role of the lead admins is to manage the everyday business of the community, handle high-level decisions, supervise the staff team and initiate changes and/or new policies.
Each Lead Admin oversees a group of up to four Admins and their Mods. They also take part in the process of selecting and promoting new Admins.
In the event that an Admin slot is empty, the Lead Admin of the group will temporarily take its place and supervise it.
Lead Admins are selected and promoted by the Owner as they see fit. Only the most skilled and dedicated staff members of the community can earn this rank.
This rank can be held by up to three members of the community.

A staff member can report any kill/damage they see fit, however this is very much discouraged unless dealing with potential Mass RDM.

Simply put, there is information in adminstats that we may not want players to know. Such as, do we suspect someone of hacking/ghosting? We know this person has this alt account. Etc.

If you watch the person the entire time from round start, and it isn't possible they switched guns or were given an UMP by a Detective, sure, that'd be a common sense kill.

When we have new users checking out our forums we don't want shitposts to be the first thing they see. They may get scared and run away.

A bit before his demotion he got reported for some stuff unbefitting of a staff member. The behavior continued, so his admin saw fit to remove him.

Deathrun is Pacifist's kid, we got into relationship and then one day he ran off and left his kid with me. Now it's just sitting there, staring at me, expecting me to change it. Seriously though, Deathrun is okay.

Because we are an English speaking community. We offer a non-English channel for other languages.

There are no plans to change any weapon stats at this time. The AK47 is definitely intended to encourage donations for loadouts.

Highwon was looking into this idea once upon a time. I do want to push for a Betting System in the future, maybe for the Anniversary Event. Just like how we introduced Headshot Decapitation in our last Anniversary Event, another old suggestion that Highwon had shown interest in.

Pretty much because it has become colloquialized to the point that it wouldn't make sense for us to ban it. Whereas the 'hard R' is racist/offensive.

Not so much End Round Songs and Skins. While you are more likely to see more skins going forward, that would be because of our talented Content Team. I would expect more Fun Rounds, as well as Bug Fixes from our Developer.

No, Admins make their own choices. I can't speak for other Leads, however I have never vetoed an Admin wanting to pick someone up. I'm not a micro-manager. I have advised against some pickups though.

We don't want to have the voice chat being drowned out. People are trying to play a game.

For some people, maybe. I'm still keeping myself engaged. It helps to always have things to work towards.

Unfortunately not, they are my plans in all areas of SGM, so naturally there is some Staff Only information.

We added 23 new End Round Songs during the Anniversary Event. Perhaps we'll add more in the next one.

I'm not sure that I understand the question. I'll say no, we don't have a system that puts laggy players at a further disadvantage.

I'll won't say it's impossible, but unlikely. We really don't want to add things that may significantly change game-play.

That's a big reason, it's also faster to join Vanilla because of the fewer downloads necessary. However, I will say that recently our East server has passed Vanilla on Game Tracker.

Though Vanilla has been bumped back up since.
