I've really been slacking on the "update this post" front.

 

I'm de ranking to silver master. Could you put a note next to my name saying I'm actually mge?

Why did they take all of the Silver 2 - 3 players and dump them in Silver 1

They say there is some number behind everyone's rank. They claim it's not your "elo" or your "mmr" but some sort of other number that determines your rank. They must've put the threshold for S1 up to the previous S3 threshold in order to put all of them into S1. Basically, the largened the gap of lower ranks and made the gaps smaller for higher ranks, causing it to be easier to be stuck in lower ranks and harder for it to be in the higher ranks.

 

I wish it was like Dota where you could see the MMR gain per game, some people lose hope after going on a 10 win streak with no rank up.

I was supreme master first class but I haven't played csgo in 5-6 months so I dont know what my rank would be with the new rank system.
