Rejected !report !respond

First

I have an idea to current report system that we should able to make two responses to single case.

For instance.

Victim post report. “He killed/shoot me for no reason”

Suspect responds “I saw you doing whatever”

Victim type !respond “no you were mistaken *players_name* did it”

I think this little report system upgrade would make cases more clear and judged more precisely. I’ve been In serval situations like this when the best solution would be able to respond like this.

Second

And also would be great to able to drag players names from list who were at this moment on the server. Cuz current just hold people online right now excluding players who have left.

Third

I think it would be useful to make list of what kind of report is this while you type !report. This should be above text window.

And chose 1 of serval types with RDM should be as default.

Examples

• RDM
• Mic spam
• Harrasment
• Spray
• Etc.

Well whatever if you were able to understand what I have written good job. I tryied my best.

 

So a nifty little way to start arguments? Sure it works out sometimes but then you get those people who want to fight till the death to prove it was rdm.

Second one not as much, but first one is exactly this -1

 

1st suggestion
You could just use adminchat and explain a bit more (although staff would prefer you to not drag this into an argument).
It wouldn't matter too much because staff is still going to handle the report, and more information wouldn't hurt.

2nd suggestion
Type in console: status
Copy and paste.
Done.

3rd suggestion
Honestly, use the adminchat to communicate with the staff.
@ This person is harassing me because he told me to kys.
or
@ That guy has a seductive furry porn that everybody on the planet uses.
etc. etc.
We sometimes prefer not letting the "person you are reporting" know about it while we investigate for hacking, sprays, etc.

 

!report is dedicated to handling RDM reports only. That’s why it’s called the rdm manager. Reports for harassment or spam are going to be overlooked.


While this isn’t a bad suggestion it just needs some tweaking to get it to where the community can fully benefit from it.

 

This is how players get pissed on one of other just "!respond"ing to each other and It'll lead to a never ending argument about just one RDM, -1

 

I think the current tools our staff have are perfectly alright in getting the job done.

 

Pretty much. There's no much use in this.
If required, the staff can always start a chat between the two sides anyway.
