Seriously, i get that staff and others have friends and all, but come the fuck on.
If you can just do away with the rules whenever you fucking want, then whats the point in punishing anyone?​

okay welp. muffin seems to have served 8 slays as a result of this... so i guess just ignore me, then.

 

no do not close this, the slays were only added after this report was filed and not right after he was unbanned. i have been in a similiar situation where i blew up like 5 people with a C4, no-one reported me, and i still had to sit out my 4 day ban.

 

i mean... not much i can do now, is there?

@ThePaleRider It was not my intent to have everyone die right there at the top of the tower but it did happen and I am sorry for that. What had happened was Juanii chan had tossed down the C4 that he got from a dead T and I had set it at 10 minutes as a joke and it not to go off before the round end, at that time Blazic had gone up and attempted to defuse it and set it off causing 9 players to die. I do take full responsibility for my actions and if that includes myself stepping down or demotion I will not put up a fight because I know I was in the wrong, again i'm sorry this had happened.

Situations like this are really confusing to navigate. With so many people screaming at you to do one thing or the other, the only thing you can do is go with your gut and hope it works out. Jabba went with his gut and it didn't work out. I don't think he did it because he was playing favorites, I think he got caught up in the moment and did the one thing he thought to do.

To tell the truth, I would have probably left him karma banned and deferred punishment until after talking with the trial mod's admin. If I felt that the situation was not being handled correctly by the admin, I would have stepped in. That is just what I would have done. Do I blame Jabba in this case? Not really. It was one of those situations where hesitation and thought must be given in a quick manner.

That being said I have listened to a lot of things in shout box tonight. I agree that this isn't right and that we should be setting a precedent that trial moderators and staff members are players to. We shouldn't be giving discretion in situations where the person is in a position of power. Hell, Sinz had to serve a mass rdm ban as a lead admin, so I don't see why Muffin can't serve a five day ban as a result of his actions.

I hate being this harsh, but there comes a time when the hammer has to come down and tonight is that time. This report is valid. Thanks for reporting.
