    Reason For Report:
Was inno during a round on motel. turned a corner into a hallway and saw two dudes walking together towards some bodies, with some of them unidentified. the first guy walks completely over the unidentified body, so i start ripping both of them thinking they're both traitors. 1 was traitor 1 was inno. I get reported by one of the players asking why i killed said, so i reported along the lines of "You guys walked over bodies and didn't identify them, sorry".

The player that reported me was the innocent, who actually was iding the bodies, and managed to before i killed him. this is irrelevant. since the first guy committed a traitorous act, my kills were justified.

I then received a slay for "Aids (the innocent) WAS IDing the bodies.", and i immediately started contesting this in voice chat/admin chat to no avail.

After the autoslay happens, Jabba then says "You didn't state that in your report". How was i supposed to know if the guy that reported me was the guy in front or back before responding? Had the guy in front reported me, this slay wouldn't have been issued. even then, the reasoning i gave in admin chat/voice chat WAS VERY CLEAR and should have had no slayed issue.

I've had incidents like this before, with moderators and admins alike, where the report doesn't cover everything, or not what i thought would prevent a slay from being issued. The thing is, usually the mod/admin would remove the slay and verify if what I said after the fact was true and keep the slay removed. Jabba just ignored me the entire time, waited for the round to start/slay to be issued, and THEN responded that i was in the wrong for the report reason.

big essay over what amounts to being just a slay, but it's irritating having to sit out a round because of what feels like being willfully ignored by a lead.

I know that sometimes staff will only go by the report response to avoid having the reported player change their reasoning completely; however, I do not think that it would have been unreasonable for @Jabba the Slut to accept your reasoning in admin chat in this situation as it simply expands on/clarifies your reasoning given in your report response.

You ask here in this report against me how you were supposed to know who reported you. Looking at your report response you say you killed them both for the same exact reason. Not identifying the body. It is absolutely relevant, because you did not claim for him to be GBA to the other guy, big black n. You were set in your mind, that both players passed the body, not one passing it and the other being GBA.

Above, you can see from the Logs and the Deathscene that Aids Lizard was most certainly actively identifying the bodies you killed him for ignoring.

From your response, and the evidence, you were slain.

You then post a screenshot of a 15 second period where you supposedly receive no response from me? Your report was not the only one that needed attention, and I was wrapping up the others before the round started. I saw your messages, acknowledged they would have no affect on your slay, and elected to respond to you a few moments later rather than immediately. Once the round started I explained to you, in voice, that you said nothing about GBA in the report response. You said that they both passed the unID.

So no, I wouldn't say I was "willfully ignoring" you.

    @Pacifist to wrap this up.

in the death scene you can see me shooting and him iding the body happen at essentially the same time. from my perspective I never even noticed him id the body, because I was already shooting for gba. that's why i put that in the report reason, i honestly had no clue he actually identified that body. yeah, the report reason was incorrect, but i still killed under correct and legal assumption and is why i contested that in admin chat. this wasn't me trying to cheat my way out of a slay.

Let me start by talking about the first reason that was given, the unided bodies. I do not believe that this is a valid reason. I agree with Jabba in this sense. He was iding the bodies, and he Ided the first one as you began to shot. I would disagree that you gave him enough time, as he literally just got to the bodies when you unloaded. You could say that reason easily applies to the other guy, but not to the guy you killed. Second I want to talk about GBA. I agree with you that it could be a potential reason, and you can argue that watching someone not id a body and then killing them is all okay in terms of the rules. What bothers me about this GBA is that it is very toxic, isn't it? First of all, the player can only take one action at a time. He can ID the bodies, or he can kill the traitor. If he didn't do one, you could kill him for the other, and as such it is extremely toxic not to give him time to do both. You created a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation.

Do you see how incredibly unfair that is? Imagine if you were in his position. Do you think that if you were there he would have time to both kill the traitor and id the bodies?

Why is it arguable? it's stated in the rules as clear as can be.

If killing someone based on them not immediately responding to a guy committing a traitorous act, right in front of the detective room, is perceived as me being unfair or malicious, then call me toxic.
If the player in the back started shooting the player in the front for not identifying the body, i can 100% guarantee i would not have shot him and waited for him to identify the newly killed player's body. Same thing if i was in his shoes, if the guy right in front of me walked over that unid'd body, i would have killed him before actually identifying the body he walked over.
We probably have very different perspectives on playing the game, but in zero way was the reason i followed through killing them both an example of toxic gameplay.

I stand behind Jabba in this case. It seems to me that your initial reason of unided bodies was not valid, and that the kill for GBA was toxic. I see no further action needed in this case.
