?

Should RDM rules be changed back to 1 slay per RDM, ban for mass only?

Exactly. It's not hard to just play the game like a human being. Use common sense. It is common sense to not go around shooting 5 people as an innocent. The only case I really see an accidental mass RDM is someone throwing a frag into a room with T buddies in it without knowing, which is still kinda not accidental if they didn't warn.

Point is.. Don't shoot someone unless they are KOSed, or a traitor! No RDM! Don't need to kill someone for looking at you funny or something stupid. Plus who gets more than one slay a map, it's not that hard to learn the first time to be careful..

I myself find the system quite fair.

    Why?:
Your first rdm could've been an accident, we don't know but it is a small accident which serves a small punishment.

Second rdm, the staff member has to interfere again with that player, showing he hasn't learned his lesson or is very unlucky that day.

3 or more, this player has had an affect on multiple rounds making it so far that they have to be punished for a longer period so that the game can continue as it should.

Why we should keep this system:
There is no mod out there whe is willing to keep track of your rdm for 3 or more map cycles, we have other things on our mind then keeping track of how many slays you already have had. We only look back as far as we can see in 99% of all cases, so if you did your 1st rdm on map 1 and your second on map 2 then we still have a record on the previous map.

Often if you take a break of the game for a small period like 10-20 mins (don't be the fool that logs off to come back 1 round later) then we often renew your streak unless you are a heavy rulebreaker or toxic player.

It's a tried and tested system, don't expect it to change. Ever.

If you have a problem with this rule, you're just utterly, horrendously, stupidly bad at the game.

Wait, so if one gets banned for the 3rd offense, how does one commit 4 or more? Do they stack after the ban now? So if someone RDMs 3 times, gets banned, comes back 24 hours later and gets another RDM he gets the 4th penalty?

its like this, yo. you RDM 2 people already, then you get POTG with a double kill and it ends up being 5 days instead of 1 because of that extra 1 RDM

By committing RDMs so rapidly that they progress past third offense before staff can even ban them. For instance, someone may commit 4 RDMs in one round- but staff doesn’t act until we have a response to the RDM report. If all reports are found to be RDM then then they progress to fourth offense.

They do not stack like that, the way it is written in if you RDM 3 times you get that penalty but if you get a 4th offense of RDM before the ban is placed due to the 3rd offense of RDM ban is placed you get the 4th.

The others explained it well enough. This is not needed.

    Thanks for suggesting.
