So, the demos (videos) I record then stop the recording never go to the file, garrysmod directory. Can you guys/girls help me out or explain this?
Its not in the demos folder, I dont know why it doesnt set them there, I think you have to manually change it. Instead, right beofre you click "demos", scroll down and they will be there labeled as .dem files
Your demos, like Elvis said, are not saved in the demos folder but the folder before that. So not "Steam > Steamapps > Common > Garrysmod > garrysmod > demos" The directory should be just "Steam > Steamapps > Common > Garrysmod > garrysmod" There may be some non-demo files chilling there, but this is the default save location for your GMod demos. Your demos should be recognizable by the name you've given them and the .dem extension/file type. Try sorting by Type if you're having trouble finding the demos. If you've checked the correct directory, but your demos aren't saving at all, please add me on steam and I'll help you troubleshoot the issue.
