All the stats come into play. Stop focusing on damage. All guns are op if you aim to the head. It literally takes like 1 second to kill someone if you aim towards the head with most weapons. AK does well when aimed towards the body because of the damage. Maybe thats why everybody thinks its so good? Nobody actually tries to always aim at the head at all times. So yes, people who simply aim towards the body can use a AK very well. But for people who aim towards the head well, the AK is terrible.

Guns depend on a players play style.

When i play i use random weapons now. It gives me a diverse gameplay. At the same time i like to see how many other people are able to use the ak when i am online. If theres only 1-5 i almost never use the ak because i know personally im gonna shit oneveryone if im a t. If theres more than that i use it sparingly but if the whole server has an ak its literally kill or be killed so i cant take that risk and need to use it to put noobs in the ground.

 

So, just gonnathrow some facts your way. The ak kills in 2 shots to the head. It has a ttk of like .2 seconds.

 

Galil 3 shots.

 

It also has a slower firerate giving the opposing player tome to react.


Not to mention, how high the recoil is for the ak is actually a thing that makes it better. If you aim for the low neck/high chest area and just m1, youll kill the player in 2 shots because the recoil just yeets that shit straight up into your head.

 

Theres only one way to resolve this. For 6 rounds, use the galil. For another 6 rounds use a AK. You will see both pro and cons using both weapons. I already done this and I believe galil is generally a better weapon overall.
