This thread is about profile pictures as the title suggests. Why do you have the profile picture you do? Does it mean anything specific to you or is it just a random one you found and liked? You see, mine is a photo of a water bottle that has been pressed down and is empty. I live in California and we are in a huge drought so I figured this picture was a representation of California. Naw just kidding I saw this photo on Tumblr and liked it. I really like this photo so I tried to recreate it and it just didn't work. It looked terrible and I spent maybe an hour trying to take a photo like this one. I eventually gave up and just used the one I found on Tumblr. It is not a very exciting story of why I have the picture I do, but I am happy with it. Spoiler: full image Have a good day!
At the moment; My picture is of Charles Snippy, he's off my favourite webcomic called Romantically Apocalyptic. It's just a fan-drawing of him and I adore it. I just wanted a profile picture that seemed... I want to say "direct". Facing the viewer. More often than not Vanilla is seen as my representative, and the background really makes her pop.
I change my profile pic a lot. My current one is a picture of Issac Clarke from Dead Space from deviantart , a website where I get most of my pictures from. I edited the lighting of the picture with photoshop.

It's someones fan art of The Adversary, a boss from The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. I thought it looked cool n' stuff, which is why I use it.
Mine is just the only picture that I could find that had dodger blue, and it has Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite, which is a giant plus. When I was promoted, I wanted to change my profile picture to match the color theme, there's not really a meaning behind it.

I usually have nature pictures that have the color scheme of my rank. My current one is from Capri from Capo di Sorrento, or a random mountain in Southern Italy. My steam profile picture is from an admin way back in the days when I played Minecraft.
