Rejected Point-shop Disguiser Upgrade

My suggestion is based on the Disguiser from the Traitor-Shop. It will be an upgrade that appears in the Point-shop. It should cost around 50,000 points. The upgrade will effect Traitors after death. If the Traitor has the upgrade bought, and has also bought the Disguiser from the Traitor-Shop, upon death the Traitor will appear as Innocent. The effect will last for 30 seconds. The Traitor does not need to have the Disguiser enabled for the effect to appear.

Their icon upon being ID'd will be Innocent. "Player Y found the body of Player Z. They were a Traitor." Will be replaced with "Player Y found the body of Player Z. They were Innocent." And their background in the tab menu will appear normal instead of red. Everything else will be the same, including Detectives gaining credits, and seeing the Radar the Traitor had.

EDIT: The Traitor must be re-identified after the 30 seconds have passed in order for it to update.

To confuse innocents into killing someone for supposedly killing an innocent? 50,000 k points to inadvertently get some poor sucker killed for doing the right thing gameplay wise?

I was hoping the suggestion was going to be you can’t identify who it was that you killed even after you killed them whilst they were disguised. But it would have a timer as well so eventually you could see who the traitor was.

 

This pretty much calls for massive RDM. Sorry, but that's not going to work.
