PM mute chat

I looked this up and couldnt find anything about it (sorry if there is something and i missed it)

Seeing as there is a personal mute for voice chat, we could add a personal mute for chat. Its quite annoying when there are people who you dont like and they are still able to annoy you through text chat.

Personally I think people in voice chat are a tad bit more annoying, but people in text chat are as well. I don't see why this shouldn't be implemented.

-1 How are people going to warn for jihads/nades/ect. if the other player has them muted? This will just cause a cluster of confusion in reports.

2nd Edit: If someone were to mute a mod, how would moderators issue warnings to players?

99% of people warn in T chat not voice chat so..

 

If u want, don't mute the person

 

Mods will still have to go through the bullshit of "he didn't warn for jihad" "I did warn but he just has me muted" and so on.

Edit: The report wouldn't be word vs word because the chat doesn't go away and you don't need to record.
