you can vote for a random map whenever you want, isn't mixing up the maps the cooldown's purpose in the first place?
It gets maps played more and stops the same maps getting stale +1 I see a dislike and a disagree, give us some reasons as to why not
Random sucks dick and often times plays maps that nobody wants to play. The best way to circulate maps is to restrict your options to 5 randomly selected maps every time. Kind of like vanilla. Gives you 5 options and you choose the best one. but the people who run this places don't wanna do that. Right @MangoTango
You can't vote for it every single time. Since the servers were reverted to pre-2017 december update it runs on the old vote map system which was that the Random Map has a 50/50 chance of being locked during voting.
