May not be the most "metal" group out there, but they've put out probably my two favorite songs of the past two years.

And they also have an incredible sounding softer side.

I hated Attack Attack!, but DAMN Caleb Shomo sounds good with this band.

Also going to put links to any songs I really enjoy that somewhat fall under the spectrum of hard rock/punk rock/metal here.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-M34ZRM120 <--- Listened to it over 15,000 times on iTunes. Easily my absolute favorite song of all time. Saw them live back in 2012 and went absolutely insane when they played it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPqVa1TCGSc <--- The ONLY version I could find with the intro. The intro made me fall in love with the song, it's beautiful and sets the song up PERFECTLY.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oDSyukC4A8 <--- While no longer making music, this is EASILY my favorite underrated song on this entire list. The shortness really makes me want more and it's so incredibly well put together and sounds outstanding.

  4. Isis, Neurosis, and Cult are classic. I suggest you try Rosetta's Wake/Lift album if you haven't listened to it yet, it goes well with the bands you mentioned.

Russian Circles is pretty good post-metal too if you want something instrumental

I wanna get in on this!

Amazing guitar, amazing sound, and a break from harsh vocals with some clean singing for those of you who like it :p
I recently saw them and I can't tell you how crazy it was.

Iron Maiden feel to it. Decent but not their best of their new music

This definitely has a Black Sabbath inspiration to it.

Pretty good song right here, (tell no one that the password is indeed makuzi)

  13. Here's a really cool instrumental that kind of fuses progressive and psychedelic rock

This is pretty good, it sounds like a Tool song without Maynard's vocals.

Gonna bump this with a few songs from bands that are going to Chicago Open Air 2017

When I end up going, I'll have one band left out of my top 10 list to see live. Ones I've previously seen being Slipknot, FFDP, A7X, Korn, Killswitch Engaged, and Disturbed.

Bands I am dying to see:

    1. GodSmack (In Top 10)

    2. Seether (In Top 10)

    3. MegaDeath (In Top 10)

    3. Mushroom Head (In top 20)

    4. Rob Zombie (In Top 20)

And tons more that are pretty well known (Not saying that any of the bands above aren't well know)

The 2 bands I want to see that I wont see in 2016: SHINEDOWN and TOOL

  19. Alright, so this song is one I've been jamming to recently,

Then there's this one which is fairly popular:

A throwback to 80's hair metal, just discovered this band:

Surely you guys have heard Mastodon, but just in case:

Alright last song. Foo Fighters aren't a metal band by any means but they sure get hard with White Limo:
