It's only bad when someone says "math is bad", it's all in your head man. Math can be tedious at times, but once you drop the "math is hard!" mental block is stops being hard, and more tedious than anything else But even I don't think it's tedious I find it therapeutic sometimes lol. Probably why I'm a math major.
3.8 is damn near perfect..... that's not bad at all lol also you're in middle school right? So your GPA doesn't exactly matter :/

I never understood or agreed with the idea that math in itself is evil or hard. What is hard is using your brain to solve problems in addition to recalling the rules of the game.
I think math is an important subject, but I disagree with the way they test you. The important thing is to understand what you're currently learning, e.g. logaritmus, they should give you something easy on the test, just to see if you understand the lecture. Only 1 problem should be a bit challenging, that uses a method learned in class. My biggest problem with math is that you can understand math, but if you made just one mistake in a difficult problem you can't prove that you understand. It's a serious problem if all problems are difficult.
they actually solve that here by giving marks if the method you used is correct or if the formula you showed is the same as the one you learned, thats why they always ask for your working out
I couldn't do long division for like 2 years, kept getting the answer and remainder reversed. Math is easy if you memorize the rules and recognize where to apply them, or do what I did and do extra practice problems because I learn by repeat until it becomes muscle memory
